Valentines.
On Feb. 11th Whatcom Swing had their Valentine Dance: "Have a Heart" Valentines Benefit Swing Dance.
Over 100 people came out for this awesome event and rocked the dance floor. We had numerous donations from folks around town! When the night was done, and the money counted we found that everyone had raised $401 which went to support the work that the Agape Home of Bellingham does with the needy and homeless in Bellingham. Nice work everyone!

Tacky Sweater Christmas.
Many new faces came through our doors on this December night, all decked out in festive sweaters to ring in some holiday cheer. Thanks to the dance lesson taught by Brad and Erika, more people in the county are now able to proudly say they can waltz! Songs about jingle bells and ho ho ho were played throughout the night in honor of the season. You can see how much fun we had in some of the photos taken.
Country Swag.
The grange was filled with stompin' boots, plaid shirts, and no shortage of swag as Brenna and Heather taught us all the Fake I.D. line dance from the new Footloose movie. (This has since become a favorite number during our normal Monday night dancing, so keep your eyes and ears open). See what a great time we had here.
One Year Anniversary.
We excitedly celebrated one full year of dancing at Whatcom Swing on a lovely summer evening in August. It was great to see many old (and new) friends show up to dance. Taking photos with some goofy photobooth props was also a highlight. The atmosphere was filled with high energy and many smiles; needless to say, we are thankful for the many people who make up the great community at Whatcom Swing! Here's to many more years of dancing and friendship!
